I was one of those shy, quiet kids who spent more time reading than talking. Literally. I didn’t speak a single word for the first several months of preschool, but I had love of reading and books. My fascination with reading led to many hours spent in the library and bookstores, and eventually to writing. I wrote my first novel when I was sixteen years old, but spent ten years rewriting and agonizing over it before publishing.
Native to New Mexico, my family and I spent several years in Colorado for college and work before moving back home to be near family. When not writing novels, you can find me reading, painting, sewing, teaching, and working with other authors.
I have several bestselling young adult series and have hit the USA Today Bestseller list twice as part of box sets. I also hve contemporary romance, cozy mystery, and paranormal new adult series. My writing is as varied as my reading interests.
